Delete your Sunyra account
For accounts made on sunyra.ai or in the Sunyra app for Android. Sunyra is a brand of LAISHA (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED.
Ask us to delete it
Signed in? Open this page while signed in (on the website or in the app) and press Delete my account. Sign in
Or by email: write to [email protected] from the email address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my Sunyra account”. If you cannot use that address, tell us which address the account uses and we will confirm it is yours before deleting anything.
Your request has been sent. We will delete your account within 30 days and write to your account email when it is done. You can keep using Sunyra until then; signing in again does not cancel the request. To cancel it, reply to that email or write to [email protected].
What happens
- We check the request comes from the account holder: a request sent from this page while signed in already does; an email must come from the account's address, or we confirm by email first.
- Within 30 days we delete the account and the data below, and email you when it is done.
- After that you can no longer sign in at sunyra.ai, in the Sunyra app or at laisha.ai with that account (Sunyra and Laisha share one account system), and reports you bought can no longer be opened. Download any reports you want to keep first.
What is deleted
- Your account: name, email address, password hash, Google sign-in link and sign-in sessions.
- Your saved charts and their birth details.
- Your Ask Sunyra conversations and question balance (unused questions are lost).
- Your matchmaking profiles, photos, interests, matches and member-chat messages, if you used matchmaking.
- Your forum posts, your share link and the record of who joined through it.
- Checkout reminder and email preferences.
What we keep, and for how long
- Purchase and payment records (product, amount, date, payment or Google Play order reference, and the birth details a report was made from): kept only as long as Indian tax and company law requires, currently up to eight years, and then deleted. They are not used for anything else.
- Anonymised data that no longer identifies you: daily visit counts and the anonymised Ask Sunyra question log (birth details, names, places, emails and phone numbers already removed).
- Moderation records of content that broke our rules, kept only as long as needed to protect other members, and anything the law requires us to keep.
- Copies in routine server backups and logs, which are overwritten on their normal cycle.
Payments themselves are held by Dodo Payments (website) or Google Play (Android app) under their own policies; deleting your Sunyra account does not delete your Google account or your Google Play order history.
Deleting only some data
You do not have to delete the whole account. On your account page you can delete any saved chart (its conversations go with it), on Ask Sunyra any conversation, and on the matchmaking page your profiles or all your matchmaking data, straight away.
