What a Varshphal is
Varshphal means "the fruit of the year". In the Tajik tradition of Indian astrology, each year of life has its own chart, cast for the moment the Sun returns to the exact position it held when you were born — your solar return, which falls on or within a day of your birthday. That year chart, read together with your birth chart, describes the year ahead.
How Sunyra reads your year
- The year chart and the Muntha. We cast the solar-return chart at your birthplace and find the Muntha, a point that starts in your birth ascendant and moves one sign each year. Its house in the year chart sets the year's tone: very good in the 9th, 10th and 11th; good in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th; a year for care in the 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 12th.
- Your running periods. Month by month, the lords of your Vimshottari mahadasha, antardasha and pratyantardasha are read through the houses they rule and occupy in your birth chart.
- The slow transits. Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Mars are counted from your Moon and ascendant, including Sade Sati and the Jupiter–Saturn "double transit"; Venus and Mercury retrogrades colour love and agreements.
The result is a level for each month — strongly favoured, favoured, steady or needs care — for love and marriage, career, money, health habits and family, with your best and most careful months. Predictions are likelihoods to plan with, never certainties.
What you need
Your date, time and place of birth. The time matters: the year chart is cast for the minute of your solar return, and its rising sign changes every two hours.
