Why does an astrologer ask for your exact birth time? Because of your lagna. As the Earth turns, a new sign rises on the eastern horizon about every two hours. The sign rising when you were born is your lagna, and every house in your chart is counted from it. So two people born on the same day, in the same city, four hours apart, have completely different charts.
