Overview
Jupiter keeps to Leo — your 10th from your Moon sign — through the month. It turns retrograde there on 13 Dec, so its themes slow down and ask for review rather than new starts until it moves forward again. Jupiter in the 10th brings work to the front, though tradition calls it a mixed passage: responsibility grows faster than reward, so choose duties with care. From Leo it also looks at your 2nd, your 4th and your 6th houses (money and family; home life; work and health routines).
Saturn is in Pisces, your 5th house, retrograde until it turns direct on 11 Dec. Saturn in the 5th makes study, children's matters and creative work more demanding; slow, regular practice works better than bursts. There is no Sade Sati or dhaiya for your Moon sign at present.
Rahu and Ketu change signs on 5 Dec by the mean node used on Sunyra (panchangs that use the true node give an earlier date). Until then Rahu is in your 4th house and Ketu in your 10th; from then on Rahu works from your 3rd and Ketu from your 9th, where they stay for about eighteen months (the 2026–2028 node transit). Rahu in the 3rd is one of its good positions: bold moves, media, travel and new skills are supported. Ketu in the 9th questions rituals and teachers; a personal faith grows.
Love and marriage
Venus, the planet of love, begins the month in Libra (your 12th house). Venus in the 12th favours comforts and money coming in for pleasures.
Your house of partnership is unoccupied this month, which keeps the focus on everyday give and take. Saturn's aspect also reaches it, asking for patience and realistic expectations. Your 5th house of romance holds Saturn.
Career and money
The Sun starts the month in your 1st house — the Sun on the Moon sign brings fatigue and a short temper; rest and plain food help. On 16 Dec it moves into Sagittarius, your 2nd: the Sun in the 2nd asks for care with money and with how you speak to family. Mercury enters Scorpio, your 1st, on 2 Dec. Mercury enters Sagittarius, your 2nd, on 22 Dec.
Mars and Jupiter sit in your 10th house (career), so what the overview says about them applies directly to career. Nothing here is financial advice: use it to time effort, not to take risks.
Health and energy
Mars, the planet of energy, starts the month in Leo, your 10th house: Mars in the 10th puts energy into work; decisive action is noticed, quarrels with seniors are not. The Moon passes through your 8th house (chandrashtama) on 24–25 Dec: tradition advises rest, no risky travel and no big decisions on those days. None of this replaces medical advice.
Best and careful dates in December 2026
Best days: 1–4 Dec, 12–14 Dec, 20–21 Dec and 28–31 Dec. Careful days (chandrashtama): 24–25 Dec. Quieter days: 5–6 Dec.
The rule behind the list: when the day's Moon (taken at noon UTC+5:30) stands 3rd, 6th, 10th or 11th from your Moon sign, tradition counts it helpful for work and results; in the 8th (chandrashtama) it advises caution; in the 12th, rest. A personal muhurta from your own chart is always more exact.
A remedy, as tradition
The Sun's passage tires you more than usual. Many people start the day with arghya to the Sun and a few Surya namaskars; tradition adds kindness to fathers and people in authority. Remedies are a devotional tradition: optional, free, and never a substitute for practical help.
Looking ahead
Mars turns retrograde in your 10th house on 10 Jan, Jupiter moves into Cancer (your 9th) on 25 Jan and a annular eclipse falls in your 3rd on 6 Feb. Read the full year in the Scorpio horoscope 2027.
