In short: Ketu in Libra brings the south node's detachment and instinct into Libra's territory: detachment in partnership and an instinctive sense of fairness. Rahu sits opposite in Aries, so the axis runs between the familiar, inherited ease of Libra and the unfamiliar pull of Aries. Which life area it colours depends on the ascendant: the table further down shows each one.

Dignity
Ketu's dignity in Libra is not defined in the main classical schemes. Because the texts disagree on node dignities, the practical rule is to judge Ketu by Venus, the lord of Libra, and by whatever planet shares the sign. In Libra the dispositor is Venus, whose own condition therefore sets the tone.
The Vedic view
Ketu has no sign of its own, so in Libra it acts largely through Venus, the sign's lord, and through the nakshatra it occupies. Classical texts treat Ketu as a separator and a significator of liberation: where it sits, a person often has instinctive skill and little attachment. Modern Vedic astrologers read Ketu in Libra as Libra's themes known so well — as if from before — that they are held lightly; the challenge is that what comes easily can also be neglected.
With Rahu in Aries, the person is drawn toward Aries's themes with hunger, while Libra offers the gifts to draw on. Lal Kitab, which reads Ketu by house rather than sign, gives its own remedies for each placement.
In Venus's sign, Ketu brings detachment to partnership and aesthetics; relationships may be unconventional or spiritual. Venus's condition as dispositor matters.
Character and temperament
Ketu signifies detachment, past skill, spirituality, research and letting go; Libra is fair, social and harmony-seeking. As a movable sign, Libra starts things, moves fast and likes initiative, and Ketu takes on that rhythm.
Strengths: instinctive skill, intuition and freedom from attachment in Libra's areas of life. At its best this is deep intuition and mastery that looks effortless.
Challenges: neglect, a sense of absence and sudden endings around the same themes. The shadow to watch is withdrawal and dismissing what one already has.
Love and marriage
Venus, the lord of Libra, sets the agenda: it is the natural significator of love and marriage itself, seeking harmony, affection and pleasure. Ketu detaches from that agenda. Opposite, Rahu sits in Aries, so relationships swing between Libra's fair, social and harmony-seeking manner and Aries's direct, quick and self-starting one. Generally Ketu can feel distant or self-sufficient in love and needs a partner who respects their solitude. Here the style is romantic love that seeks balance. Being an air sign, Libra needs conversation, friendship and room to breathe. For Aries rising, Libra is the 7th, so Ketu sits in the marriage house itself. Its general tone in love: Ketu brings detachment and a spiritual flavour to love: the person may need space, or find a bond that feels familiar from before.
Career and money
Venus suits arts, design, fashion, beauty, hospitality, entertainment and luxury trades; Ketu in its sign adds precision, intuition and a dislike of self-promotion. Professionally, Ketu suits research, healing, technical precision, occult studies, coding and spiritual work. Libra, being movable, starts things, moves fast and likes initiative, which shapes the working style. It is a direct career factor for Capricorn rising, with Libra on the 10th. Where money is concerned, money matters can feel detached or erratic, so simple systems work best. It falls in the money houses for Virgo rising (2nd) and Sagittarius rising (11th).
Health and wellbeing
Ketu is linked with mysterious or recurring complaints, injuries and the nervous system, and Libra with the kidneys and lower back, so these are the areas tradition watches. A helpful habit: meditation or prayer and finishing what one starts. This is traditional astrology, not medical advice.
The dispositor
Venus rules Libra, so Venus is Ketu's dispositor. Wherever Venus sits by house and sign is where Ketu's energy in Libra is finally spent; a strong Venus supports it, a weak one asks more of it.
By nakshatra
Libra holds parts of 3 nakshatras; the one Ketu occupies adds a further layer:
0°–6°40′: Ketu in Chitra, ruled by Mars; deity Tvashtr, the divine craftsman (later identified with Vishvakarma); its gift is the eye of a maker and its shadow vanity and perfectionism.
6°40′–20°: Ketu in Swati, ruled by Rahu; deity Vayu, the wind; for money it earns through trade and flexibility; money moves like wind.
20°–30°: Ketu in Vishakha, ruled by Jupiter; deity Indra and Agni together (Indragni); in love it pursues love with single-minded intensity and can be jealous.
By rising sign
Lordship changes with the rising sign, so the table below shows where Ketu in Libra sits and what it governs in each case.

Navamsa and the two zodiacs
The vargottama zone of Libra is 0°–3°20′: there Ketu occupies the same sign in the D1 and the D9, and its results are more reliable. Readers who know their Western chart may find Ketu in Scorpio there: the sidereal–tropical gap is roughly 24°.
Ketu transiting Libra
Time in the sign: about eighteen months in each sign (moving backwards). Transits are judged from the natal Moon: following Phaladeepika ch. 26, this transit is traditionally favourable for Moon signs Leo, Taurus and Sagittarius, before vedha and ashtakavarga refine it. While the nodes cross Libra and Aries, eclipses fall on this axis, and the houses these signs occupy in a chart become restless or active.
The Western view
In Western astrology the South Node in Libra is read, in modern evolutionary astrology, as familiar ground — past mastery of partnership — with growth found by moving toward the North Node in Aries. Medieval astrology gave the South Node exaltation in Sagittarius; tropical and sidereal positions differ by about a sign, so check which zodiac a chart uses.
